If you’re anything like me then the inside of your purse might look like this:

Seem familiar?  Often we hold on to receipts in anticipation of having to return something later. Maybe you just slip it into your purse with the intent to throw it out and never do.  Suddenly you can not find your chap stick because it’s hidden under a blanket of long slips of white paper. Here’s a quick tip and purse saver.  More and more stores are offering to email you your receipt.  I know, I know… the only thing more cluttered than your purse  is your email box. Add not wanting to give out your personal email address; the offer gives many a reason to pause. Here's an idea courtesy of a very helpful Children's Place Cashier:
Set up an email account for receipts and store offers/coupons, ie calreceipts@gmail.com, declutter@gmail.com, or even nomorereceipts@gmail.com. Be as witty or straightforward as you like. Most email providers group similar messages or have search functions. Finding what you need later should be relatively easy. So here is to more purses looking like this:
